BVB International Academy North America is delighted to announce the launch of our newest affiliate club BVB IA Maryland located in Montgomery County, Maryland.  BVB IA Maryland will be supported by BVB International Academy North America as well as Borussia Dortmund with coaching education, leadership, growth opportunities and creating a professional youth academy for all of our Maryland athletes.   

BVBIA-Maryland will represent the world-renowned player development methodology of the Borussia Dortmund.  As the official youth partner of Borussia Dortmund Youth Academy, BVB IA Maryland will transform the previous Superstars and Dribbling into the professional development model perfected at Borussia Dortmund’s Youth Academy.  Through and with the signature programs of BVB International Academy North America including the Collegiate Athlete Placement (CAP) program and an advanced coach/ player development model, Elite League Strategy and outstanding Coaching Education BVB IA Maryland will be uniquely situated to develop the holistic player to their highest potential possible.

Together, BVB and BVB IA North America believe that the professional academy approach is the best developmental platform for young players who wants to play in College, MLS or professionally. This affiliation will focus on developing players in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States through a proven soccer methodology. BVB International Academy is committed to creating the best training environment, system, and player pathway for all of our athletes.

The players, families, and coaches with BVB International Academy-Maryland will be immersed in the intensity that creates the signature culture at Borussia Dortmund and the opportunity to create an honest and authentic player pathway.   Montgomery County and the DMV have many talented players who in the past may have not had the support and backing to reach their full potential. Having one of the best most well-respected professional academies worldwide represented here in our region will help change this landscape for players in Maryland.

This is a great step forward in the development of soccer within the DMV and we are extremely happy to be the only Club in Maryland to have a relationship with Borussia Dortmund Youth Academy in Dortmund Germany. BVB International Academy America is the official United States youth soccer partner for Borussia Dortmund Youth Academy located in Dortmund, Germany. Borussia Dortmund is known for providing opportunities for the best youth players including U.S. players like Christian Pulisic and Gio Reyna. BVB IA America is headquartered in Carrollton, Texas.
